CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — A lady drug peddler involved in the proliferation of drugs in this city and nearby towns was nabbed and yielded around P680,000.00 worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation in PEO Capitol Compound, Barangay Guinhawa on Sunday (Oct. 15).
PDEA Bulacan Provincial Officer IA5 John Jerme T. Almerino in his statement identified the apprehended suspect as Arlene San Pedro y Dayao, 42 years old, resident of Pritil, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
Recovered from San Pedro were one white plastic bag containing two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 100 grams of shabu amounting to P680,000.00; and the marked money used by the poseur buyer.
Operating teams said that San Pedro was also previously arrested by PNP operatives in Pulilan for violation of Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of RA 9165 sometime in the year 2020.
The operation was jointly conducted by operatives of PDEA Bulacan and Bataan Provincial Offices and the local police
A non-bailable offense of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act 9165 will be charged against San Pedro. (UnlInews Online)
