TARLAC — The construction of the new two-storey Concepcion Municipal Hall in Barangay Alfonso formally began after the groundbreaking ceremony led by key officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Tarlac 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) and Tarlac local government.
District Engineer Edward Ricardo Ramos was joined by Governor Susan Yap, Vice Governor Carlito David, Tarlac District Representatives Cristian Yap, Jaime Cojuangco, and Noel Rivera, as well as Concepcion Mayor Noel Villanueva, in the said event held recently.
Ramos stated that the facility, with a total floor area of 7,200 square meters, will offer a more spacious and conducive workplace for local officials of Concepcion, given that the present municipal hall cannot accommodate all citizens availing public services, especially with 45 barangays under its jurisdiction.
“In our effort to provide public structures that will improve the delivery of government services, we at the DPWH are always ready to support the local government of Concepcion and contribute to the construction of infrastructure that will aid them in efficiently delivering public services,” Ramos remarked.
Also present during the groundbreaking rites of the P39.1 million project, implemented under the Department’s Convergence and Special Support Program and funded by the General Appropriations Act of 2023, were other key DPWH and Tarlac local officials. (UnliNews Online)
