ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — A sangguniang kabataan kagawad and two others were arrested inside a suspected drug den following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Capaya 2 on Sunday afternoon (October 22).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Luzon Regional Director Ronald Allan DG. Ricardo identified the arrested suspects as Aiko P. Bernabe, 25 years old, SK Kagawad; Elmer M. Mallari, 37, and Abegail M. Dizon, 36.
According to the PDEA team leader, the subject of the operation was Elmer Mallari, who was on the PDEA-PNP unified watchlist.
Approximately 15 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P103,500; buy-bust money; assorted sniffing paraphernalia; cal. 38 and two live ammunition were recovered during the sting operation.
The drug operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Aurora and Pampanga Provincial Offices.
Charges for the violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the apprehended suspects. (UnliNews Online)
