CITY OF MALOLOS – Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando led the distribution of emergency cash assistance to 5,496 Bulakenyos during the “Pamamahagi ng Cash Assistance (Emergency Cash Transfer) sa mga Biktima ng Bagyong Egay at Habagat” held at The Pavilion in Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center on Tuesday (Oct. 24).
The said financial assistance from President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. and Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian totaled P28,000,167 and was distributed to Bulakenyos from the Cities of Malolos, Baliwag, Meycauayan and San Jose Del Monte and towns of Hagonoy, Paombong, Balagtas, Bocaue, Santa Maria, Calumpit, Pandi, Plaridel, Angat, DRT, Norzagaray, San Ildefonso, Obando, and San Miguel.
Fernando thanked PBBM and Gatchalian for the support and hopes that the beneficiaries will put it to good use.
“Kaya po kami nandito ay upang makapagbigay ng tulong sa bawat isa sa inyo. Nawa ay magamit ito sa maayos na pamamaraan. Sana ay makatulong ito sa inyo, gamitin ninyo ito sa matalinong paggastos. ‘Yung iba ay gamitin ninyo sa pagnenegosyo at sa pang araw-araw na pangangailangan,” Fernando said.
