Bul PPO deploys over 1,889 PNP troops to monitor BSKE 2023

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S SANTOS, Bulacan — The Bulacan Police Provincial Office is prepared to provide a smooth and secure election process with just three days until the much-awaited electoral event on Monday (Oct. 30).

Bulacan PPO according to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director deployed 1,889 Philippine National Police (PNP) troops around the province to ensure the effective and efficient provision of security coverage.

Arnedo has worked diligently to create a secure environment for the forthcoming election. The police force has meticulously planned and coordinated their efforts with various stakeholders to guarantee a peaceful and orderly voting process.

“The Bulacan PPO has heightened its security measures across all barangays in Bulacan. Additional police personnel will be deployed to maintain peace and order during the election, and we have established a close partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to ensure that all election guidelines and regulations are strictly followed. They will collaborate to address any potential issues that may arise during the election,” Arnedo said.

He added a quick response teams will be on standby to respond to any incidents that may threaten the safety and security of voters and candidates. Their swift response will help maintain the integrity of the election.

The Bulacan Police Provincial Office Arnedo remarked remains steadfast in its mission to protect the community and uphold the democratic process, is dedicated to providing a secure environment for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election on October 30, and is prepared to take swift action to address any challenges that may arise.
