CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — PRO3 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said that Central Luzon police conducted an anti-illegal drug operation in Bulacan and Bataan which resulted in the apprehension of four drug peddlers and the seizure of suspected shabu valued at P1,985,600 recently.
At around 9:10 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 17) in Balagtas, Bulacan, two high-value individuals were captured, and Bulacan police were able to confiscate more or less 262 grams of alleged shabu, with a standard drug price of P1,781,600.00.
Simultaneously, in Samal, Bataan, the anti-drug operation led to the arrest of one male and one female peddler. Approximately 30 grams of suspected shabu, estimated at P204,000.00, were seized during the operation.
The arrested suspects are now facing criminal charges for violation of RA 9165.
Hidalgo commended the recent achievements of PRO3 operatives and issued a stern warning to those involved in illegal drug activities. He urged individuals to cease their involvement in the use and distribution of prohibited substances, emphasizing the region’s commitment to eradicating the drug menace. (UnliNews Online)
