1,500 Pandieños benefitted from NHA’s People’s Caravan

PANDI, Bulacan — About 1,500 Pandieños benefited from the “People’s Caravan: Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa” led by the National Housing Authority (NHA) Bulacan District Office in Pandi Village 1, Barangay Siling Bata on Friday (Nov. 24).

The “People’s Caravan was attended by Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro, Mayor Rico Roque, and local Pandi officials led by Municipal Administrator Arman Concepcion.

According to Ma. Fatima T. Dela Cruz, District Manager, Bulacan District Office, the agency brought various government services closer to the people in one place aside from providing houses.

“People’s Caravan also aims to support the housing beneficiaries in their livelihood and to meet the needs of every housing community in Pandi,” Dela Cruz added.

The participants include the Department of Agriculture, the President’s Executive, the National Irrigation Administration, TESDA, DTI, DOLE, DOH, LTO, PSA, SSS, DSWD, and others.

Various private companies also participated in the job fair as part of the People’s Caravan where the priority of each company was housing residents in Pandi looking for jobs.

Mayor Roque thanked the NHA Bulacan District Office and other government agencies that brought government services and assistance to the people of Pandi.

For security, Philippine National Police (PNP) Pandi ensured the peace of the caravan. (UnliNews Online)
