CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — A series of intensive police operations conducted by Bulacan police resulted the confiscation of suspected shabu worth P212,000 and arrested 16 drug traders on Wednesday (Dec. 6) and early Thursday morning (Dec. 7).
In reports submitted to Lt. Col. Jacquiline P. Puapo, OIC Bulacan PPO, a successful drug sting operation by the City of San Jose Del Monte police took place in Libis, Zone 2, Brgy. Muzon, CSJDM.
Twenty-nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 12 grams, with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of about P81,600, along with marked money, were confiscated. The operation led to the prompt arrest of 5 drug suspects.
Similarly, a team of anti-illegal drug operatives led by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit/ Provincial Intelligence Unit (PDEU/PIU) together with Bocaue and Malolos City police arrested a 29-year-old drug dealer from Batia, Bocaue, after a drug buy-bust operation in Sumapang Matanda, Malolos City, at around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. Authorities confiscated three sachets of suspected shabu valued at P68,000 (SDP) and marked money.
Moreover, an estimated total price of about P48,000 (SDP) worth of suspected shabu were confiscated during a series of drug buy-bust operations. They were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in Baliwag City, Pandi, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, and Malolos City police, which resulted in the arrest of 8 more drug dealers.
Similarly, 2 individuals were also arrested by anti-drug operatives of Plaridel PS after a drug buy-bust, resulting in the confiscation of 4 sachets of suspected marijuana valued at about P15,240 (SDP) and marked money.
All arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 have been prepared against the suspects for filing in court.
