CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — An estimated P1,800,000 worth of dried marijuana leaves was seized and eight drug personalities were nabbed in anti-criminality operations Brgy. Gumaoc East, City of San Jose del Monte on Thursday evening (Dec. 7).
Lt. Col. Jacquiline Puapo, officer in charge of Bulacan PPO said on Friday (Dec. 8) that at about 11.20 p.m. anti-drug operatives of CSJDM conducted a drug sting operation in Blk-3, Brgy. Gumaoc East, and confiscated approximately 15 kilograms of suspected dried marijuana, with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of about 1,800,000, along with marked money and one piece of coin purse.
According to Puapo, based on the report the city anti-illegal drug operatives conducted an operation under the PDEA coordination which resulted in the arrest of one of the suspects after selling one piece of plastic containing dried marijuana to a poseur buyer while the other suspects were caught in their possession and control of plastic bricks of dried marijuana.
Confiscated pieces of evidence composed of 10 bricks of dried marijuana, 1 plastic bag containing dried leaves of marijuana estimated weight of 15 grams, and marked money.
The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
