Over P1M worth of shabu seized, 2 drug peddlers arrested in Bataan sting

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Two drug peddlers were arrested and approximately P1,020,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated during an anti-illegal drug operation by Bataan police authorities on Sunday morning (Jan. 21).

The sting operation was conducted in Brgy. Townsite, Mariveles, Bataan around 11 a.m. where more or less 150 grams of alleged shabu were seized from the possession of the drug suspects.

The suspects were detained in Mariveles MPS and are now facing complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PRO3 Director Brig. Gen.Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said that the successful drug buy-bust operation manifests the hard work and tireless efforts of the police authorities to rid the communities of Central Luzon from illegal drugs. (UnliNews Online)
