Couple drug peddlers, cohort fell in Bataan buy-bust

ABUCAY, Bataan — A couple involved in peddling illegal drugs, along with their cohort were arrested after selling around P102,000 worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation in Tabuntabunan St., Barangay Omboy, Abucay town on Saturday (Jan. 27).

PDEA team leader identified the apprehended suspects as Jing Abalos y Carantu @Joven, male, 28 years old, resident of Barangay Omboy; Jelli Abalos y Angeles, 29, female, Brgy. Omboy; and Johnmiller Basquez y Solano @kulot, 22 years old, resident of Brgy. Capitangan, all in Abucay, Bataan.

Arrested suspects yielded five pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets containing more or less 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000; assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money used by the poseur buyer.

The operation was jointly conducted by PDEA Bataan and Bataan PPO-PPDEU and Abucay MPS.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
