CAMP GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS, Bulacan — The Bulacan police operations led to the apprehension of individuals involved in criminal activities on Saturday (Feb. 17). These successful operations resulted in the arrest of several wanted felons and a drug dealer.
In reports submitted to Col. Relly P. B. Arnedo, PD Bulacan PPO, the effective track down operations carried out by operatives of Sta. Maria and DRT PS led to the arrest of two individuals.
At about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, in Barangay Malis, Guiguinto, Bulacan, the Santa Maria MPS executed a Warrant of Arrest against RG Ferrer for the crime of Sexual Assault. Ferrer, a 24-year-old male helper, was apprehended based on the e-warrant of arrest issued by the Family Court Branch 4, Malolos City, Bulacan.
Meanwhile, in Sitio Kalayakan, Barangay Kalawakan, DRT, Bulacan, the Tracker Team of the DRT PS, together with PIT Bulacan East RIU 3 and Plaridel MPS of Quezon PPO, apprehended D. Alferes for the crime of Rape. Alferes, a 44-year-old male, was arrested based on an Alias Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Br. 62, Gumaca Quezon.
The arrested accused are currently under the custody of the arresting unit or station for proper disposition.
Moreover, a drug dealer in Donacion, Angat, Bulacan, @Sheera a 32-year-old male vendor, was apprehended by Angat PS operatives during a drug buy-bust operation.
Confiscated were three sachets of suspected shabu valued at about P2,040 (SDP) and marked money. The arrested suspect and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect have been prepared for court filing.
