MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – A notorious drug pusher included in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional target list and three of his cohorts were nabbed that resulted in the discovery of a drug den and seizure of some P241,500.00 worth of shabu following an entrapment in Barangay Dau on Wednesday night (Feb. 28).
PDEA team leader identified the main target of operation as Edsel G. Carlos, alias Bruce, 51 years old; while three other suspects were identified as Maria Hilda M Permits, 42 years; Nelson S. Del Rosario 42; and Joshua M. Policarpio, 27.
“This high impact operation was a product of a month long casing and surveillance”, team leader said.
Authorities recovered a total of 13 pieces of plastic sachets containing more or leas 35 grams of shabu amounting to P241,500.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.
The operation was conducted by PDEA Aurora Provincial Office, PDEA Pampanga PO and PDEA-3 RSET.
A case for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the apprehended suspects. (UnliNews Online)
