CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) proudly announces the launch of its groundbreaking initiative, the “Station IDOL of the Month” program, aimed at honoring the exemplary dedication and hard work exhibited by uniformed personnel across various municipal and city police stations within the region.
In his statement, Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., regional director said on Monday (March 4) the program, aptly named IDOL which stands for Ideal Deeds of a Law Enforcer, was designed to uplift morale and enhance the welfare of our personnel by recognizing their outstanding contributions to upholding the rule of law and ensuring public safety.
He added that through this initiative, members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) who demonstrate exceptional performance in their respective duties will be acknowledged and rewarded.
Highlighting the significance of this initiative, Hidalgo stated, “We must acknowledge the tireless efforts and unwavering commitment of our personnel who tirelessly work to maintain law and order within our communities. The ‘Station IDOL of the Month’ program serves as a platform to express our gratitude and appreciation for their invaluable service.”
The program is being overseen by a Station Selection Committee, tasked with identifying deserving individuals from each station. Recipients will be honored during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at their respective units/offices and at the Regional Headquarters, where they will receive a Letter of Commendation and a cash incentive as tokens of appreciation for their exceptional contributions.
The launch of this program comes at a crucial time when the diligent efforts of our police personnel deserve recognition and support. “Despite the challenges they face daily, our personnel remain steadfast in their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our communities. We have to ensure that their dedication does not go unnoticed,” emphasized Hidalgo.
Through the “Station IDOL of the Month” program, PRO3 reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and recognition for the brave men and women who selflessly serve their duties, embodying the highest ideals of law enforcement. (UnliNews Online)
