CABANATUAN, Nueva Ecija — A buy-bust operation launched by joint operatives of PDEA Nueva Provincial Office and Cabanatuan MPS resulted in the arrest of three drug suspects and the dismantling of a makeshift drug den at around 2:00 p.m., in Barangay Lagare, Cabanatuan City, on Sunday (March 3).
PDEA Nueva Ecija chief identified the apprehended suspects as Vlademir “Vlad” G. Cajucom married, 40 years old, resident of Purok 6, Brgy. Lagare, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija (drug den operator); Cherry R. Carreon, single, 26 years old, resident of Purok 6, Brgy. Lagare, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija; and Ronel P. Bancuyo, single, 32 years old, a resident of Purok 5, Brgy. Lagare, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
The sting operation yielded five pieces of heat-sealed transparent sachets containing more or less 13 grams of shabu amounting to P88,400.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.
“Cajucom was also included in the PDEA RO III target-list of drug personalities. Also confiscated from his possession were money remittance receipts that will be subjected to financial investigation,” said the team leader.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
