CITY OF MALOLOS – Get ready to witness the glitz and glamour as the Provincial Government of Bulacan rolls out the red carpet for the extraordinary women of Bulacan.
The prestigious Gawad Medalyang Ginto 2024 is set to take place tomorrow, March 12, 2024, at 2:00 pm at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in this city.
Under the theme “Matatag na Pamilyang Bulakenyo, Katuwang sa Pagpapaunlad ng Lalawigan Ko”, Governor Daniel R. Fernando, Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro, and the Panlalawigang Komisyon para sa mga Kababaihan ng Bulacan (PKKB) led by Dr. Eva Fajardo will be honoring remarkable Bulakenyas for their invaluable contributions to the development of the province and the nation.
The winners will be recognized in two categories: Medalyang Ginto category – Natatanging Babae and Natatanging Samahang Pangkababaihan; and for Sectoral category – Matagumpay na Konsehong Pambayan/Panlunsod para sa Kababaihan (KPK), Matagumpay na Babaeng Mangangalakal, Matagumpay na Babaeng Makakalikasan, Huwarang Kabataang Babae sa Pamumuno, and Matagumpay na Babae sa Makabagong Pagnenegosyo.
Awardees for Natatanging Babae and Natatanging Samahang Pangkababaihan will receive a statuette trophy, gold medal, sash, winners’ tarpaulin, and cash prizes of P30,000 and P40,000 respectively.
Meanwhile, all sectoral category winners will be awarded with a bust trophy, sash, winners’ tarpaulin, and cash prizes of P30,000 for Matagumpay na Konsehong Pambayan/Panlunsod para sa Kababaihan (KPK) and P15,000 each for Matagumpay na Babaeng Mangangalakal, Matagumpay na Babaeng Makakalikasan, Huwarang Kabataang Babae sa Pamumuno, and Matagumpay na Babae sa Makabagong Pagnenegosyo.
