Hidalgo ensures Holy Week travel safety through bus terminal inspections

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — As the Observance of Holy Week approaches, PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hildago Jr. spearheaded the inspection of bus terminals on Wednesday (March 27) to oversee preparations for the anticipated influx of travelers heading to various provinces for the extended holiday period.

Emphasizing the importance of ensuring public safety, Hildago highlighted that police personnel are actively engaged in physical inspections across all terminals throughout the region. Stringent security measures have been implemented, extending even to entrances of malls and churches.

During his thorough inspection of bus terminals, the regional director personally boarded a bus to interact with drivers and passengers, aiming to foster a sense of security among commuters.

“We prioritize the safety and peace of mind of our commuters, which is why these inspections are paramount. We extend our gratitude to the collaboration of various government agencies and our invaluable force multipliers, all working tirelessly to safeguard the public during this Holy Week and throughout the entire summer vacation,” expressed Hidalgo.

Under his leadership, PRO3 remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring a secure environment for all travelers, exemplifying dedication to public service during this significant period of observance and beyond. (UnliNews Online)
