CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Authorities apprehended a 29-year old woman listed as high-value individual and seized from her possession more or less 200 grams of suspected shabu in Tarlac City, Wednesday afternoon (March 27).
A joint operation was carried out by operatives from the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PPDEU), PIU Tarlac PPO, and Tarlac City PS along Irrigation Road, Brgy. San Roque, Tarlac City, resulting in the apprehension of the suspect.
Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., the Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3 said the suspect was caught in the act of selling one knot-tied transparent ice bag containing suspected shabu, valued at P20,000.
Furthermore, Hidalgo added that two additional knot-tied transparent ice bags, also containing suspected Shabu and other incriminating evidence, were confiscated from her possession. The total weight of the seized shabu is estimated to be over 200 grams, with an approximate standard drug price of P1,360,000.
Hildago also emphasized that the ongoing anti-illegal drug operation highlights the unwavering commitment of the PNP-PRO3 to eradicate illegal drugs from communities and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. (UnliNews Online)
