CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — An estimated Php 2,733,600 worth of shabu were seized from the two female drug peddlers in an anti-illegal drug operation on early Monday morning in Sitio Sampalukan, Barangay Calvario, Meycauayan City.
In his statement, Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director said about 1:45 a.m. anti-drug operatives of Meycauayan conducted a buy-bust operation that resulted to the arrest of Laine a.k.a. Drug Queen, 30 years old, single, and her cohort alias Cherry, 29, single, both residents of Sitio Sampalukan Brgy. Calvario, Meycauayan City.
The duo yielded a total of six sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated weight of 402 grams and a value of Php 2,733,600 (Standard Drug Price, SDP).
Arnedo said the arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects have been prepared for filing in court.
