CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Authorities scored a major victory against the proliferation of illegal drugs with the arrest of a 51-year-old businessman from City of San Jose Del Monte during an anti-illegal drug operation in Calumpit, Bulacan, Sunday (April 7).
PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said on Monday alias “Choco” who is considered a high-value individual was apprehended by joint operatives from the Calumpit Municipal Police Station and the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) of Bulacan in Barangay Pio Cruzcosa, Calumpit, Bulacan.
Subsequently, operating teams seized eight transparent plastic bags containing approximately 270 grams of suspected shabu with standard drug price of P1,836,000.00 along with marked money.
Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 has been readied against him for court referral while ongoing investigations seek to uncover any potential connections or accomplices involved in his alleged illegal drug trade activities.
