MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA RO III) dismantled a makeshift drug den and arrested four individuals including the den operator, following a buy-bust operation in Mawaque Resettlement, Sapang Biabas on late Wednesday night (April 24).
PDEA team leader identified the apprehended suspects as Oliver Ventura y Laxamana @Berung/@Berong, 43 years old, married; Mark Anthony Ventura y Laxamana @Makmak, 38; Rovilma Manlapaz y Truadio @Vilma; and Rosetth Dimarucut NMN @Setset, 28 years old, all residents of Brgy. Mawaque Resettlement, Sapang Biabas, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Team leader said that the operation targeted Oliver Ventura, drug den maintainer, who had been under surveillance for three week following reports from a confidential informant.
A total of eight pieces of plastic sachets containing more or less 15 grams of shabu worth P103,500.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and buy-bust money were recovered during the sting operation.
The operation was jointly conducted by PDEA Aurora and Pampanga Provincial Offices.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
