SUBIC, Zambales — Agents of The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales Provincial Office collared four individuals, seized some Php 54,400.00 worth of shabu, and dismantled a drug den during a buy-bust operation Friday evening in Purok 6A, Barangay Calapacuan, Subic town on Friday (April 26).
Authorities said that the primary target of the operation was a 39 year old drug den operator named Franklin S. Silla, who did not resist arrest after being taken into custody. Three other suspects were identified as Jesus Navalta, male, 32 years old, resident of Sta. Elena, Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales; Leon Mayor, 43, resident of Purok 6A, Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales; and Jonalyn Gelio, female, 26 years old, resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Matain, Subic, Zambales.
Approximately eight grams of meth (shabu) worth P54,400.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money were recovered from the apprehended suspects.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Zambales PO, Zambales PPO, PDEG SOU-3, and Northern Command Naval Intelligence Security Group (NISG).
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
