SUBIC, Zambales — Two drug peddlers included in the the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region III target list and two others were accosted inside a suspected drug den in Barangay Calapacuan, Subic town that also led in the confiscation of some P102,000 worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation on Friday night (May 3).
PDEA Zambales chief identified the apprehended suspects as Abdurakman Pacsa, female, 44 years old, resident of Purok 6B, Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales; Calma Tani, 44, resident of Purok 6B, Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales; Nelbert Glino, male, 38, resident of Purok 4, Brgy. New Cabalan, Olongapo City; and Alvin Sabeniano, male, 48, resident of Brgy. Pag-asa, Olongapo City.
Arrested suspects yielded a total of seven plastic sachets containing more or less 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the marked money used by the poseur buyer.
Team leader said that the operation was a product of a month-long casing and surveillance. The drug sting was conducted by the combined elements of PDEA Zambales, PDEA SIU-SBMA, Zambales PPO PDEU , PDEG SOU3, Naval Intelligence Security Group (NISG) North, and Subic Police Station.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the apprehended suspects. (UnliNews Online)
