12 drug traders, 13 law breakers arrested in Bulacan

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — The Bulacan police arrested 12 drug traders and 13 law offenders in an anti-criminality operations on Wednesday (May 8) and Thursday (May 9.)

In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director, a drug-sting operation was conducted at Brgy. Wawa, Balagtas, resulted in the successful arrest of two High-Value Individuals (HVI), @Jaco and @Tintin, listed in the PNP-PDEA unified watchlist. Confiscated were four sachets of suspected shabu and marked money.

Similarly, ten individuals involved in the illegal drug trade were apprehended by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in the areas of Norzagaray, Angat, Malolos City, and Hagonoy during a series of drug bust operations. Confiscated were a total of twenty-four sachets of suspected shabu and marked money.

The arrested suspect and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect have been prepared for court filing.

Moreover, six felons wanted for various crimes and offenses were arrested by tracker teams of the Bulacan PNP by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the court.

Furthermore, seven individuals were caught in the act of engaging in illegal gambling activity, “cara-y-cruz,” in two separate operations in Pinagpala, Brgy. Lambakin, Marilao, and Sitio Bayumbon, Poblacion, Norzagaray. The authorities apprehended the individuals, including the confiscation of “pangara” and bet money in different denominations.

These individuals are presently under the custody of the arresting unit for proper disposition.
