CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Authorities from the Camiling Municipal Police Station apprehended two individuals for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 on Friday (May 10) afternoon in Tarlac.
In his statement n Saturday (May 12) PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. identified the suspects as alias “Boyet” and alias “Boy,” both residents of Barangay Poblacion J, Camiling, Tarlac.
Seized from the duo were two knot-tied transparent large plastic bags with six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets both containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing 175 grams with a standard drug price of P1,190,000; 1 P1,000.00 peso bill marked money; one improvised water pipe tooter with residue of suspected shabu; weighing scale; one OPPO cellular phone, and other drug paraphernalia.
Further investigation revealed that alias “Boyet,” is allegedly affiliated with the Dizon Criminal Group engaged in illegal drug activities within Camiling and the province of Tarlac.
Appropriate charges for violation of Sec 5 and 11 of RA 9165 are being readied against the suspects for court referral.
