LIMAY Bataan — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office has successfully apprehended a notorious drug personality and three of his accomplices that also resulted in the seizure of some P115,600.00 worth of illegal substances following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Kitang II & Luz, Limay town on Wednesday night (May 15).
PDEA Bataan chief identified the apprehended suspects as Danilo E. Fernando, 32 years old; Melvin C. Dollente, 39, Joco D. Punzalan27; and Bryan E. Fernando, 37.
The sting operation yielded seven pieces of plastic sachets containing more or less 17 grams of shabu worth Php 115,600.00; assorted sniffing paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money used during the transaction.
Team leader said that during the operation, PDEA agents apprehended Fernando’s accomplices who were believed to be working closely with the drug personality.
PDEA Bataan Provincial Officer in a press briefer, urges the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to illegal drugs to maintain Bataan’s status as Drug-Cleared province.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the apprehended suspects. (UnliNews Online)
