5 suspects fall in Mabalacat drug den raid

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga PO have entrapped five drug suspects inside a suspected drug den resulting in the seizure of approximately Php 88,400.00 worth of shabu after a successful buy-bust operation in Barangay Sapang Biabas on Wednesday (May 22).

PDEA Pampanga chief said that the operation was consummated at around 5:55 p.m, that led to the arrest of five suspects, namely: Jerico Velasco y Medina, male, 27 years old, resident of Brgy. Sapang Biabas, Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Arnie Miranda y Lopez, male, 35; Reymart Bernal y Tagaytagan, male, 18; Ignacio Canlas y Baron, male, 45; and Ron Ron Bernal y Canlas, male, 19, all residents of Brgy. Sapang Biabas, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

Operating teams recovered five pieces of plastic sachets containing more less 13 grams of shabu worth P84,400.00; assorted sniffing paraphernalia; and the marked money used by the poseur buyer.

Charges for the violation of the anti-drug law (Republic Act 9165) will be filed against the apprehended suspects. (UnliNews Online)
