3 Chinese nationals yield P3.4M worth of shabu in Angeles City

ANGELES CITY — Three Chinese nationals were arrested for selling 500 grams of shabu worth P3,400,000 following a buy-bust operation at around 3:15 a.m., in Camelia Street, Timog Park Subdivision on Tuesday (June 4) here in this City.

PDEA Pampanga Provincial Officer identified the apprehended suspects as Liao Hong Tao,31, male; Li Guo, 37, male; and Wan Li,41, male.

Arrested suspects also yielded one SUV unit and assorted units cellphones believed to be used in Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator or POGO.

PDEA agents said that arrested suspects were in the country for about a year now.

“Aside from 500 grams of shabu, assorted units of cellphones used in POGO operation were also recovered. The suspects were also involved in the distribution of drugs to POGO workers”, said the team leader.

A non-bailable offense of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to section 26B (conspiracy to sell drugs) of Republic Act 9165 will be charged against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
