Bulacan police arrested 22 law offenders

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Eleven drug suspects, 4 wanted persons, and 7 illegal gamblers were arrested by Bulacan Police in different police operations conducted on Saturday (June 15), and Sunday early morning (June 16).

According to the reports submitted to Lt. Col. Jaquiline P. Puapo, OIC, Bulacan PPO, in different buy-bust operations conducted by Balagtas, Guiguinto, Bulakan, and Pandi Police Station, 11 drug peddlers were arrested. Confiscated during the operations were a total of 21 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, 1 small heat sealed of dried leaves and fruiting tops of suspected Marijuana and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, the tracker teams of Guiguinto, Obando, and Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company arrested 4 wanted persons in different manhunt operations. They were arrested for crimes of Frustrated Murder, Violation of BP 22. And Violation of R.A. 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Law).

The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.

On the other hand, separate anti-illegal gambling operation was conducted by San Jose del Monte, wherein 7 illegal gamblers were arrested. They were caught in the acts of playing illegal coin game, (Cara y Cruz) and illegal card game (pusoy). Confiscated evidence consisted of playing coins and bet money in different denominations.
