CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 Director, Brig. Gen.
Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., announced that operatives from the Angeles City Police successfully arrested a high-value target identified as alias “Pawpaw,” a 53-year-old native of Marawi City.
According to Hidalgo, the arrest took place during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted on Thursday (June 13), near Abacan Bridge, Riverside Interior, Barangay Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City.
During the operation, police seized 200 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of P1,360,000. Alias “Pawpaw” was charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Hidalgo emphasized that the ongoing anti-illegal drug operation highlights the unwavering commitment of the PNP-PRO3 to eradicate illegal drugs from communities and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. (UnliNews Online)
