MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Approximately 5,888 grams of imported marijuana resin (marijuana sticky substance) worth P392,533.33 was seized from a 28 year old male consignee following a controlled delivery operation at at around 3:35 p.m., in Barangay Joaquin on Wednesday (June 19).
PDEA Clark team leader identified the apprehended suspect as Daryl B. Dela Cruz , single, resident of Diamond Street, Poblacion, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
According to PDEA, the parcel containing the illegal substances arrived at the Port of Clark last June 16, 2024.
“The confiscated marijuana resins emanated from California, USA were declared as candles. They were placed inside the 12 pieces of plastic canister containers and the discovery of which prompted us to conduct a controlled delivery operation”, team leader said.
The operation was conducted by PDEA Central Luzon, PDEA ICFAS, Bureau of Custom- Port of Clark, PNP AVSEC3, PDEG SOU3 and Mabalacat Police Station.
A non-bailable offense of section 4 (importation of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the arrested consignee. (UnliNews Online)
