CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs and the arrest of 6 drug personalities, 11 wanted felons, and five illegal gamblers on Wednesday (July 10) and early Thursday morning (July 11).
Based on a reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Bocaue Police Station conducted a successful drug sting operation that resulted in the arrest of 3 drug suspects identified as alias Bulkit, Ada, and Kiko at around 4:10 a.m. of July 11, 2024, in Brgy. Turo, Bocaue, Bulacan.
Confiscated from the suspects were 10 sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price of P374,000 along with marked money.
Similarly, in different buy-bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Santa Maria and San Ildefonso Police Station, 3 drug suspects were arrested. Confiscated during the operation were a total of six plastic sachets of suspected shabu, and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect are now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, tracker teams from San Ildefonso, Meycauayan, Calumpit, Guiguinto, San Jose del Monte Police Station, and the Bulacan 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Companies arrested 11 wanted persons in various manhunt operations. Four individuals were arrested for the crime of estafa, three for acts of lasciviousness, and the others for sexual assault, rape, slight physical injuries, and violation of R.A. 10883, “The New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016”.
The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.
On the other hand, separate anti-illegal gambling operation were conducted by San Jose del Monte and Angat Police Station, wherein 4 illegal gamblers were arrested. They were caught in the acts of playing and betting on illegal coin game (Cara y Cruz).
Confiscated evidence were playing coins and bet money in different denominations. While an individual was arrested for the act of collecting bets intended for STL without any identification card or certification from STL Franchise authorizing him to collect bets. Confiscated evidence consisted of playing coins, STL booklets, and bet money in different denominations.
The string of operations by Bulacan police are in adherence to the marching order of the Chief, PNP, to intensify, strengthen, and focus on the anti-criminality drive of the PNP, which was effectively made clear by the Regional Director of PRO 3, Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. (UnlinNews Online)
