Security Bank Foundation renews college scholarship program with PLM

MAKATI CITY — — Security Bank Foundation, Inc. (SBFI) renewed its college scholarship program with Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) through a Memorandum of Agreement signed at Security Bank Centre in this city recently.

SBFI re-affirmed its commitment to provide educational assistance to underprivileged but high potential students with 12 scholarship slots awarded to PLM annually. The PLM partnership is part of SBFI’s larger Scholars for Better Communities program which supported 398 students in the 2023-2024 school year.

On the same day of the signing, two SBFI-PLM scholars were awarded certificates, plaques, and cash for graduating college with Latin honors (Magna Cum Laude and Cum Laude).

The renewed partnership underscores SBFI’s commitment to enrich lives and build communities sustainably by ensuring hardworking and driven students have access to higher education, enabling them to uplift the quality of life of their families and be productive citizens of the country.
