SM malls in Bulacan join ‘Brigada Eskwela’

CITY OF MALOLOS — In a heartwarming display of unwavering commitment to education and community development, SM Malls in Marilao, Baliwag, and Pulilan participated in a series of Brigada Eskwela activities at selected schools in Bulacan.

Armed with cleaning supplies and paintbrushes, SM City Marilao volunteers carried out a series of tasks that included cleaning classrooms and repainting walls to enhance the safety, and learning environment of Marilao Central Integrated School.

SM Center Pulilan joined forces with dedicated employees and agency personnel to undertake a comprehensive transformation at Jose C. Castro Elementary School. Classroom walls, chairs, and tables were repainted and refurbished to create a vibrant and conducive atmosphere for students.

Aside from cleaning of the classrooms, repainting, and sprucing up the school grounds, the SM City Baliwag team donated refurbishing and cleaning materials, as well as 1,021 pieces of textbooks courtesy of the SM Foundation, to Baliwag South Central School.

Furthermore, the Customer Relations Services (CRS) team of SM City Marilao, SM City Baliwag, and SM Center Pulilan go the extra mile to bring joy to the remote community in San Mateo, Norzagaray, Bulacan by donating school supplies to at least 145 Dumagat pupils of Sapang Munti Elementary School. Through their efforts, the SM Security Personnel have exemplified the true spirit of volunteerism and community service.

Brigada Eskwela serves as a platform for collaboration between SM Supermalls and educational institutions, allowing them to work hand in hand to create a positive impact on the lives of students.
