P1.3M worth of illegal drugs seized in Bulacan, Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — An estimated P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs were seized while 6 individuals were arrested in a series of anti-illegal drug operations in Bulacan and Pampanga on Thursday (Aug. 1).

In his statement, PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., said at around 1:09 a.m., Mabalacat City Police arrested alias “Jun,” during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Dau. The 42-year-old suspect was found with 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000.00.

Relatedly, City of San Fernando Police apprehended alias “Den,” 50 years old and alias “Nel,” 29 years old in Barangay Del Carmen in the evening of July 31. The duo were caught with 80 grams of suspected shabu with standard drug price of 520,000.00.

Meanwhile, Hildago added that at about 3 a.m. Guiguinto Municipal Police conducted a buy busy operation in Barangay Tuktukan which resulted in the arrest of alias “Joshua,” 21 years old.

“He was found with around 4,000 grams of suspected marijuana with standard drug price of P480,000.00,” Hildago said.

Also, Bocaue Municipal Police arrested alias “DJ,” 22 years old and alias “Sunshine,” 20 years old, during a buy-bust operation along McArthur Highway, Barangay Lolomboy. Seized from their possession were 2,250 grams of suspected marijuana worth P270,000.00.

PRO3 Director praised the operating teams’ dedication, stating, “These arrests reflect our unwavering commitment to eliminating illegal drugs. Our coordinated efforts and community support are vital in this fight. We will continue to pursue those involved in illicit activities to ensure a safer environment for all.” (UnliNews Online)
