CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — Assorted illegal drugs such as marijuana, shabu and drug paraphernalia were seized inside a makeshift drug den that also resulted in the apprehension of four individuals following a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Minuyan Proper on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 3).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Provincial Office identified the arrested suspects as Alfred Marcosa y Ibañez, male, 36 years old, (Drug Den Maintainer); Mary Rose Nabo y Umbahin, female, 28; Mae Gutierrez y Dela Cruz, female, 27; and John Eric Estabaya y Lorenzo, male, 18; all residents of Brgy. Minuyan Proper, SJDM, Bulacan
Approximately 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000; one (1) gram of marijuana worth P120.00; assorted sniffing paraphernalia; and the marked money were recovered during the drug sting.
Confiscated illegal substances will be forwarded to PDEA RO III laboratory section for forensic examination.
The operation was jointly conducted by PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office, PDEA RO III Special Enforcement Section, and San Jose Del Monte City Police Station.
Arrested suspects will be facing charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
