CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — In a major anti-drug operation on Friday night (aug. 3), three high-value individuals were arrested, and illegal drugs worth over P1 million were confiscated.
In a report to PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., Pampanga PPO Director Col. Jay C. Dimaandal detailed that at around 9:44 p.m., joint operatives from the Intelligence/SDEU, City of San Fernando Police Station, PDEU, 1st PMFC, and 2nd PMFC Pampanga PPO conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Juan, City of San Fernando.
“This operation resulted in the arrest of three high-value individuals (HVIs) identified as alias “Dara,” 60 years old; alias “Bakbak,” 55; and alias “Mervs,” 50 years old,” Hidalgo said.
Authorities seized 150 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P1,020,000.00.
Appropriate charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9561 are being prepared for court referral.
“This operation highlights the unwavering dedication of our police to fighting illegal drugs and ensuring the safety and stability of the community,” Hidalgo stated. (UnliNews Online)
