PGB to host activities that will raise awareness about diverse laws and jurisprudential initiatives

CITY OF MALOLOS — In relation to the upcoming Five Pillars of the Criminal Justice System celebration, the Provincial Government of Bulacan, in collaboration with various governmental institutions and organizations, will host a series of seminars and symposiums aimed at raising awareness about diverse laws and jurisprudential initiatives this August.

With the theme, “Isang Bayan, Isang Hustisya: Pagkakaisa ng Limang Haligi ng Katarungan”, the lined-up activities that include Gala Night at The Pavilion in Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center on August 9; Lecture/Seminar on Community Service Act at the JCAS Sports Alley on August 16; PNP Crime Summit at Francisco Balagtas Hall, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center on August 23; and Larong Lahi, Jail Visitation and Provision of Legal Aid at the Tanglaw ng Pag-asa Youth Rehabilitation Center on August 29 will ensure a prompt and efficient administration of justice.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando said that the Five Pillars of the Criminal Justice System in the Philippines work together harmoniously to ensure the proper functioning of the justice system, thus community engagement is essential in effectively addressing the law-and-order concern of the citizenry.

“Nagtutulungan ang limang haligi upang tiyakin na ang mga krimen ay iniimbestigahan, nabibigyan ng hustisya, ang mga nagkasala ay natutulungang makapagbagong-buhay, at ang komunidad ay nakikibahagi sa proseso,” Fernando said. (UnliNews Online)
