13 drug traders yield P780K worth of shabu, 10 law offenders arrested

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs and the arrest of 13 drug personalities and 10 law offenders on Monday (Aug. 5) and early Tuesday morning (Aug. 6).

In his statement, Bul PPO officer in charge, Lt. Col. Isagani V. Enriquez said a total of 8 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 100 grams with a standard drug price of P680,000 and buy bust money were seized in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Plaridel Municipal Police Station that resulted in the arrest of 2 watchlisted drug personalities, alias Andy and Empoy that transpired in Brgy. Parulan, Plaridel, Bulacan, at about 1:19 a.m. of Monday.

Relatedly, 10 more drug peddlers were arrested in different buy bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Miguel, Sta. Maria, Meycauayan, Norzagaray, Angat, Pulilan, and Bulakan Police Station.

“More or less 34 sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price P101,870 and marked money were all confiscated during the operation,” Enriquez said.

He added the arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.

On the other hand, 6 persons wanted by law were arrested in a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of Marilao, San Jose Del Monte, Bocaue, Meycauayan, and Baliwag City Police Station. All arrested persons are currently under the custody of the arresting unit or stations for proper disposition.

On the other hand, 4 individuals were caught in the act of engaging in illegal gambling activity, card-game “Pusoy” in Brgy. Batia, Bocaue, Bulacan. Authorities of Bocaue Police Station apprehended the individuals, including the confiscation of a set of playing cards, and bet money in different denominations. These individuals are presently under the custody of the arresting unit for proper disposition.
