Bulacan police seize P408K worth of shabu in SJDM

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — In a significant stride against illegal drug activities, operatives of the San Jose Del Monte City Police Station, under the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO), apprehended six individuals during a buy-bust operation conducted on Friday evening (Aug. 9) in Barangay Grace Ville, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

Col. Satur Ediong, Officer-in-Charge of Bulacan PPO, identified the suspects by their aliases: “Mon,” 57 years old; “Ric,” 39 years old; “Margie,” 53 years old; “Bob,” 50 years old; “Arn-arn,” 41 years old; and “Bato,” 28 years old—all residents of the said barangay.

The operation led to the confiscation of 60 grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price of P408,000.00. The suspects and the confiscated items were promptly taken to the San Jose Del Monte Forensic Satellite Office for drug testing and further investigation.

Criminal charges are being prepared for court referral against the arrested individuals.

Hidalgo Jr., Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3, emphasized the significance of this operation, stating, ” I want to reaffirm that Police Regional Office 3 is resolutely committed to eradicating illegal drugs in our communities and safeguarding the well-being of our residents.
