Authorities shut down drug den in Angeles City

ANGELES CITY — A makeshift drug den was dismantled, which resulted in the arrest of three individuals tagged as high-value- targets and the confiscation of some P81,600.00 worth of shabu after a successful buy-bust operation in Purok 4, Barangay Amsic, on Friday afternoon (Aug. 16).

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) team leader identified the apprehended suspects as Orly Cabangangan Bolito @Waway, 47 years old; Jay Lopez Panlican, 24 and Jelly Mayo Delos Reyes, 23, all resident of Purok 5, Brgy. Amsic, Angeles City.

Operating teams recovered a total of 8 pieces of plastic transparent sachets containing more or less 12 grams of shabu worth P81,600.00; assorted pieces of drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.

The operation was conducted by the combined elements of the PDEA Aurora Provincial Office, the PDEA RO III Special Enforcement Section, and the Angeles City Police Office, Station 2.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
