SUBIC, Zambales — A makeshift drug den was dismantled in Subic town that led to the arrest of four individuals and confiscation of some P61,200 worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation at around 11:40 p.m. in Purok 1, Barangay Matain, on Saturday (Aug. 17).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales Provincial Office identified the apprehended suspects as Jayson Minguito y Gaylan, male, 36 years old, resident of Salang St., Sitio Aplaya, Purok 1, Brgy. Matain, Subic, and Zambales (Drug Den Maintainer); Alvin Eclevia y Chang, male, 51, a resident of Brgy. Barretto, Olongapo City; Adrian Viray y Andong, male, 29, a resident of Brgy. Sta. Rita, Olongapo City, and Reggie Español y Miranda, male, 39, a resident of Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales.
Approximately nine grams of shabu worth P61,200; assorted sniffing paraphernalia; and buy money were confiscated during the sting operation.
The operation was conducted by the combined elements of PDEA Zambales Provincial Office, PDEA Subic Interdiction Unit and Subic Police Station.
Arrested suspects are now detained in PDEA RO III Jail Facility and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
