CAMP OLIVAS — Pampanga police successfully arrested four suspected drug dealers and confiscated nearly P700,000 worth of shabu during a series of anti-drug operations on Saturday (Aug. 24).
In one operation, operatives of San Fernando City police conducted a buy-bust in Barangay San Pedro Cutud, resulting in the arrest of two suspects, known as “Jocard,” 47 years old, and “Tetey,” 46. The operation led to the seizure of 85 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P578,000.
In a separate buy-bust operation, Mabalacat City police arrested “Bry,” 25, and “Lene,” 47, in Barangay Dau, with authorities seizing 17 grams of suspected shabu worth P115,600.
The suspects are facing charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. commended the operating troops and said, “Our unwavering efforts to eradicate illegal drugs in the region continue to pay off, and we will continue our mission to achieve a drug-free Central Luzon.” (UnliNews Online)
