MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan — Criminal charges have been filed in the Prosecutor’s Office on Friday (Aug. 30) against the three active policemen who were accused of robbing a businessman of P30-million in Brgy. Borol 2nd, Balagtas on Thursday (Aug. 28).
Central Luzon Police Regional Director Brig.Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., identified the three arrested policemen during the follow-up operations as PSSg Anthony Ancheta, 48, married from Brgy. Mojon, Malolos and currently assigned to BulPPO, PMaj. Armando Reyes, 55, married to Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Sta. Maria, Bulacan and assigned to Hagonoy MPS and PSMS Ronnie Galion, 43, married to from Mag-asawang Sapa, Sta. Maria, Bulacan and currently assigned to Sta. Maria MPS.

“Bulacan police are currently looking for four more suspects who are said to be active policemen assigned to the province of Bulacan,” Hidalgo said.
In the initial investigation, at around 10 a.m. on Thursday, seven suspects entered the house of businessman Emerson Magbitang, 35, a pharmaceutical supplier and resident of St. Francis Subdivision, Brgy. Borol 2nd, Balagtas, Bulacan.
The suspects pretended to be asking for financial help, so they easily entered the businessman’s house.
It is said that the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and then stole the P30 million cash that the victim said he had just withdrawn from the Bank.
The suspects also stole three cellphones which were later thrown by the suspects in Balagtas NLEX when they fled so that they could not be followed.
Authorities are currently conducting a hot pursuit operation to nab the other four suspects who escaped. (UnliNews Online)
