CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Three most wanted persons in Bataan, Pampanga and Zambales were arrested by authorities in separate operations, Thursday (Sept. 5).
At around 11:45 AM, joint personnel from the San Fernando City Police Station (CPS), PIU Pampanga, and the 1st and 2nd Pampanga PMFC successfully arrested Leemorgyle Lopez y Galang, also known as “Gopez” and “Leemor.” The 34-year-old suspect, listed as the No. 4 Top Most Wanted Person (Provincial and Station levels), was apprehended in Brgy. Malpitic, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Lopez was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165, Section 11 – Possession of Dangerous Drugs) issued by Hon. Mary Anne P. Padron-Rivera, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 46 in San Fernando, with a recommended bail of P400,000for his temporary liberty under Criminal Case No. 35763.
In a separate operation at 12:30 PM, operatives from Abucay MPS, arrested 39-year-old Gerald Sanchez y Sto. Domingo in Brgy. Wawa, Abucay, Bataan. Sanchez, the No. 2 Top Most Wanted Person at the provincial level, was apprehended for violation of Section 12, Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act). The warrant of arrest was issued by Hon. Antonio Ray A. Ortiguera, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 2, Balanga City, Bataan, under Criminal Case No. 23371.
At 2:45 PM on the same day, Subic MPS personnel served a warrant of arrest against 54-year-old Gavril Todean y Daniel, a Canadian national and businessman, currently detained at the Bataan District Jail in Brgy. Dona, Orani, Bataan. Todean is listed as the No. 3 Most Wanted Person at the provincial level in Zambales and the No. 1 Most Wanted Person at the municipal level of Subic.
Todean was arrested for violation of RA 10883 (Carnapping), with a recommended bail of Php 300,000.00 as ordered by Hon. Harold Cesar C. Huliganga, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 196, Parañaque City. He remains in custody at the Bataan District Jail, awaiting transfer to the court of origin for further proceedings.
