P750K worth of shabu seized in Angeles City and Nueva Ecija

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Additional major anti-drug operations were carried out by authorities in Angeles City and Nueva Ecija which resulted in the arrest of five drug suspects and confiscation of nearly P750,000 worth of illegal drugs.

On Thursday about 12:05 p.m., joint operatives of the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU) and Police Station 3 (PS3) conducted a buy-bust operation in Brgy Cutud, Angeles City which resulted in the arrest of alias “Boss,” 29, and alias “Aris, 36, and seizure of 55 grams of shabu worth P374,000.

Similarly, three individuals were arrested during a joint anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Leonardo Municipal Police Station and the PDEA Nueva Ecija Field Unit on September 3, 2024, at around 7:20 p.m. in Barangay Mambangnan.

The suspects were identified as alias “Ron,” 55 years old; alias “El,” 52 years old; and alias “Jay,” 26, and confiscated from the trio were 55 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P374,000 and Yamaha Fasio motorcycle with plate number 240XGO.

“These achievements highlight the effectiveness of the intelligence-driven approach to reducing the drug supply and these also prove our commitment to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region and achieve our quest for drug-free communities,” PRO3 Director Brig.
