CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Bulacan anti-illegal drug unit seized more than P270,000 worth of shabu and arrested eight drug suspects in a busy bust operations on Saturday (Sept. 7) and early Sunday morning (Sept. 8).
According to the reports submitted to Col. Satur L. Ediong, officer in charge, Bulacan PPO, a buy-bust operation was conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Miguel Police Station, 3 drug suspects from Pasay City was arrested in Brgy. Santissima Trinidad in City of Malolos at around 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Confiscated during the operation were a total of 11 heat sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of P170,000. and buy-bust money.
Similarly, Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Ildefonso, Malolos, Obando, and Plaridel Police Station conducted different buy bust operations and arrested five drug peddlers and confiscated shabu worth P61,200 drug paraphernalia and marked money
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court.
The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.
