ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — Four drug suspects tagged as high-value targets were entrapped by anti-narcotic operatives following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Teresita on Thursday afternoon (Sept. 19). The sting also resulted in the dismantling of drug den and seizure of around P81,000.00 worth of shabu.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operating teams identified the arrested suspects as Jeffrey Panganiban y Pangilinan @Kobe, 41 years old; Joey Dela Rosa y Marcelo, 42; Mark De Jesus y Darupan 37, all resident of Purok 1 Brgy. Sta. Teresita, Angeles City and Ronald Reyes y Magtanong, 34, resident of Asuncion St. Brgy. Lourdes Northwood, Angeles City.
PDEA team leader said that the sting operation was conducted following a report about the existence of a makeshift drug den in the area.
A total of seven plastic sachets containing more or less 12 grams of shabu worth P81,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money were seized during the operation.
Joint operatives of PDEA Aurora and Pampanga Provincial Offices and Angeles City Police Office-Station 2 conducted the operation.
Apprehended suspects will be temporarily detained in the PDEA RO III Jail Facility and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165. (UnliNews Online)
