ORANI, Bataan — Three drug suspects were arrested during a buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of some P272,000 worth of shabu in Barangay Kawayan Tugatog, Orani town on Thursday afternoon (Sept. 19).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office identified the apprehended suspects as Anwar Maradial y Paengco, 24 years old, resident of Brgy. Cawayan Tugatug, Orani, Bataan; Rexie Tolentino y Perez @Ely, single, 35, resident of Brgy. Mulawin, Orani, Bataan; and Janording Usman y Ali @Uling, 34, resident of Brgy. Cawayan Tugatug, Orani, Bataan.
Approximately 40 grams of shabu worth P272,000; assorted drug paraphernalia; one unit Colt Cal. 45 with three live ammunition; one unit Cal. 9mm with three live ammunition; and the buy-bust money were recovered by the operating team.
Recovered illegal substances will be submitted to the PDEA laboratory section for quantitative and qualitative examination.
The operation was conducted by the combined elements of PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, PDEA RO III Special Enforcement Team, PDEA Bataan Seaport Interdiction Unit, Bataan PPO Drug Enforcement Unit, Orani Police Station, PNP Bataan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, and National Bureau of Investigation Bataan.
Arrested suspects will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. . (UnliNews Online)
