BULACAN — Leading building solutions provider Holcim Philippines, Inc. has successfully sealed collective bargaining agreements (CBA) with unions for its Bulacan and La Union plants, strengthening the company’s ability to work with its people to deliver business performance and advance employee opportunities.
The company’s management signed CBAs with the Holcim Philippines Employees Association (HPEA) until 2025 and another with UCC Bulacan Supervisory Employees Union (UBSEU) effective until 2029.
The unions expressed their gratitude for the new CBAs and committed to supporting company efforts to drive business results that create opportunities for its people.
The negotiations were completed quickly, with neither exceeding five days. A joint signing ceremony was held on Sept. 13 to celebrate the milestone. The Bulacan agreement follows similar cordial negotiations with the Holcim La Union Supervisory Employees Union for its new CBA signed in June.
Nicolas George, President and CEO of Holcim Philippines: “The fast negotiations speak to the strong collaborative culture we have fostered in our organization based on respect, transparency, and the common goal of delivering excellent results. I am pleased and thankful to my colleagues and excited to work with them to grow the business, which also creates opportunities for everyone in the company.” (UnliNews Online)
